Fendi leather label section:

Check inside the handbag for the label. This label should be fixed to the interior lining of the handbag, and not attached only at the top similar to that of a tag. The label should be attached on all sides and be a rectangular shape. The corners of the label should always be squared, and not rounded. This is important. Many fake Fendi handbags have rounded corners on the leather label backing. If the corners are rounded in any way, then that should raise a red flag.

Fendi Metal label section:

Fixed onto the leather label backing should be a metal label centered within the leather label. This metal label should also be squared off at the corners. In the bottom left corner of the metal label should have, "made in Italy" etched or stamped into the metal. In the bottom right corner of the label, the words, "Fendi" should be stamped with the double F logo centered directly above the "Fendi". Both stamp impressions should be centered within the metal label horizontally.

Meaning that there should be the exact same space between the left edge of the metal label and the "M" in made in Italy, and the right edge of the label and the "I" in Fendi. If there are any signs of unevenness, crooked stamp impressions or if the meal label is not centered within the leather label, then those discrepancies should raise some major red flags. Also, always study the quality of the stamp impressions, the counterfeiter may have the correct spacing, but they may have done a poor job with the stamping itself. If the letters do not look clear or if the impressions are fuzzy in places, these factors should also raise a red flag. Good luck and safe shopping!
